Today we have a bar mitzvah to go to. We aren’t going to make it to the service because Oliver has to work this morning but we are gonna make it to the after party. Im kinda bummed about missing the service but kinda glad. Im bummed because it would’ve been a blast from the past kind of moment from when I’d go to shul with a few of my siblings. Im kinda glad because I find jewish men well orthodox Jewish men to find women inferior in many cases (in my experience) and that is not ok with me. Anyway, its for a former coworkers twin boys. And they are 2 of ollies good friends and bowling teammates.
Princess and baby j are doing great according to her and she even got a chance to call my father in law last night. Right now she has all the help in the world but I fear it won’t last. When you become a parent everyone kinda disappears quickly over time if that makes sense. Its more like slowly then all at once u realize there’s no one left.
Ollie went to work with Oliver yesterday. They had this massive cookout for the customers, well not a cookout a fundraiser. Burgers and hotdogs chips water. For only like 2 or 3 dollars depending what u chose. While they were gone and I didn’t have to stop what I was doing every 5 minutes to do this and that for everyone else, I got a bit of dishes and stuff done. In the morning I had a headache and at night I had a tummy ache so I only had a limited time in the afternoon to get stuff done. But some is better than none.
Btw did I mention im wearing a SKIRT to the bar mitzvah today….yea….a SKIRT. I haven’t worn a skirt in probably 14 years when I was a size 5. Olivers aunt gave me a pair of dress pants and a skirt that she never wore before she moved to Florida and the skirt just makes more sense. Although the pants would probably be kind of a slap to the men….I’m gonna wear the skirt for nostalgia purposes. Although I’ve never worn a full length skirt, we’ll see how it goes.
Well I’m gonna end this here.
Until next time
