143, sunburns, masks, and syncope.

Yesterday was the first day we were able to go swimming in the pool due to a later than normal pool opening. I was eager to get in due to the fact that my herniated disc has been giving me serious grief since saturday night. We didnt even think of sunscreen and dove right in and spent the next 3 hours swimming. Resulting in a nasty sunburn for me…..and slight sun burn for Ophian and Ollie on their shoulders

Sleeping last night was torture I tossed and turned in pain having my arms fall asleep in various degrees only to give up around 3am to go sleep in my recliner.

We had shopping to do today and we are still required to wear masks indoors so my anxiety was in over drive. I couldnt breathe by the time we were 3/4 of the way through the 2nd store so we rushed to finish so I could get outside and get the mask off. We had one last place to go to a quick in and out trip for my Rx, an anti itch benadryl pen thing, and ear plugs for the pool. We get everything and get in the car and I instantly get this feeling of something very off. I feel like I’m going to pass out. Something I havent done in months. We get home and Oliver walks me inside so sit on the couch while he and Ollie bring all the groceries in. After they get everything in they are keeping an eye on me to make sure I’m ok and boom…lights out.

I’m guessing it was a mix of the heat….it was around 90 degrees, and wearing the mask, that didnt agree with me. According to Oliver, Ollie had a very bad reaction to me passing out. It freaked him out I guess, though he should be use to it. Hell he’s even caught me during a previous syncope episode. Either way I’m feeling somewhat better now, just in time to go to bed.

Until next time
